In more than 145 countries, Kraft Foods markets the world's favorite food and beverage brands. Kraft brands include Kraft cheese, Jacobs and Maxwell House coffees, Nabisco cookies and crackers, Philadelphia cream cheese, Oscar Mayer meats, Post cereals, and Milka chocolates. Kraft has 218 manufacturing and processing facilities worldwide, with 100 in North America and 118 outside North America.

Project Description

Acentric developed numerous distributed intranet applications for KFI Live - Kraft's global intranet, based on Sharepoint Portal Server and ASP. KFI Live is the primary source for internal information across the Kraft Foods International organization, used by employees in well over 100 countries.

Among the applications developed for KFI live was the Online Worldwide Library of Advertising (OWL), an intranet application that allows Kraft employees and affiliates to store, track, search and view advertisement media (print, radio, TV, etc.) and related metadata for Kraft's global advertising strategies. OWL has an advanced but easy to use admin interface developed in tight collaboration with the user community.
